Flyers Flyers about upcoming PTA events and activities are sent home weekly via backpack. Our goal is for this page of the website to be a repository for these flyers. If you do not find the flyer you are looking for, please e-mail the PTA webmaster at webmaster@gunpowderpta.org or visit the "Committees" page for the name of the chairperson responsible for the event or activity about which you have questions. E-mail addresses for PTA committee chairpersons can be found under the "More Info" tab. Thank you! A Note to PTA Committee Chairs: All flyers must be approved by the school principal before they may be distributed to Gunpowder families. Flyers that need to be approved should be sent to Krista DiPaula, Corresponding Secretary, at corres_secretary@gunpowderpta.org. There Are Lots of Incentives to Join PTA The PTA membership drive for the new school year just began. Membership is the same price as last year, $8 for the first member, and $7 for each additional adult member. Here are a few reasons to join, and join now! PTA members get in free to all Gunpowder PTA family fun events. Members who join by or before Back to School Night on Tuesday, September 7, may be eligible to win two dozen steamed crabs and a case of soda. Everyone who has paid to join by Hot Dog Night, September 24, gets to dine as a guest of the PTA. Grade levels with 80% participation, will win a pizza party for every class in that grade. The PTA needs your e-mail address and your child's grade and teacher information in order to communicate with you about upcoming PTA activities and events, and about things going on at the school. Also, don't forget about our PTA directoy. Everyone who has a website account can access our PDF directory. A PDF file, accessible only to those families with an account, the directory contains contact, teacher and grade information for everyone who is registered on the website, and who elected to share it. This can be a big help when planning a birthday party, or asking questions about a homework assignment. Each family can determine how much, or how little information they wish to share.
